From the solo show Inflate and Expire at Akershus Kunstsenter (Nitja).

The finance crises of 2007 was a thematical backdrop to this show. During the peak of the crisis there seemed to be bubbles everywhere: Stock marked bubble, real estate bubble, art marked bubble and so on. So I made two bubbles - “Bubble-bubbles” - as a satirical comment to the inflated use of bubble-metaphors. Both were made of bubble wrap and transparent package tape. They were fragile, but held themselves up.
